TAE10 - 4 x Assessor Units - Partial Completion of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110

This course reflects the roles of individuals providing assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

Possible roles relevant to this qualification include:
Enterprise Assessor
RTO assessor
Students enrolling in the qualification are advised of the need to have access to the following prior to commencement of the course;
1. Internet
2. DVD Camera / Skype unless eligible for *Third Party/Supervisor report
3. Microsoft Office Word
4. Evidence must be gathered in the workplace wherever possible. Where no workplace is available, a simulated workplace must be provided.
* Candidates whose presentations can be observed by a qualified trainer and assessor.

Students will be required to accept these requirements as part of the terms and conditions acknowledgement.

TAEASS401B Plan assessment activities and processes
TAEASS402B Assess competence
TAEASS403B Participate in assessment validation

Once deemed competent in the above units a statement of attainment will be issued as a partial completion of Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE40110

The 4 units of competency are delivered in the following manner;

Blended face to face / correspondence mode;
The qualification will be delivered over a 2 days blended face to face / correspondence mode; where the student will be required to complete the majority of assessments post the 2 day face to face attendance.
Note it is important to understand that the students will not be issued /granted the qualification after the 2 day face to face attendance.

Flexible delivery modes i.e. electronic or correspondence
Students are provided with ether a hard copy learning guide for correspondence or online access to the learning guide for electronic delivery.
The completion of the qualification is self paced over a period of 12 months.
