By successfully completing this course you will meet ASIC’s requirements, as outlined in the financial services reform legislation (FSR), for offering tier 2 general advice on general insurance, deposit and non-cash deposit products.

Employment with organisations such as banks, building societies and credit unions (ADI’s) who hold an Australian Financial Service Licence (AFSL), may require this qualification to be completed. Some financial advisers and planners may also offer advice on these type of products. Those providing support to insurance brokers or general advice AFSL’s may also wish to acquire more knowledge, by completing these units.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

There are currently no entry requirements for this course. You will need to have access to a computer with an internet connection.

 

COURSE DURATION:

Your enrolment is valid for a period of twelve months. With reference to group “face-to-face” training, participants are guided through the learning material and the assessments are completed by the participant post class time. Hence overall course completion is controlled/ directed by the participant.
