FNS50615 Diploma of Financial Planning

This course covers the requirements for providing Financial Planning advice (RG146 compliant).

It is recommended that this course be completed prior to completing the "Advice In" Financial Planning Modules.


Separate courses covering other specialist knowledge areas are available for enrolment, to include;

• Advice in Self-Managed Super Funds
• Advice in Insurance Broking
• Advice in Margin Lending

OR should you wish – we have a Packaged Course including the FNS50615 Diploma of Financial Planning (inc Advice in Life Insurance) and Advice in Superannuation, Managed Investments, Securities and Derivatives that you can undertake instead.

This is the industry recommended qualification for individuals who are seeking to become qualified under ASIC requirements as an Authorised credit rep to provide a range of standard financial planning services, specialist Para-planning services and life insurance advice.
 

NOTE: If you have previous industry experience/training you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Please refer to the RPL read more page to determine the eligibility criteria.

 

COURSE DELIVERY OPTIONS:

• Face to face (blended - part classroom and remote self - paced)
• Correspondence – online access plus a hard copy of the course manual will be posted to you. (self - paced remote)
• Online (self - paced remote)

Regardless of your preferred delivery choice qualified trainers/ assessors will always be contactable for tutoring and assistance both via email and telephone. Also if you have undertaken this course via face to face previously with AAMC and there are any areas you still do not understand you are welcome to return for free to the next available class covering this module.

 

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

For all delivery options, you will need to have access to a computer with an internet connection. There are currently no entry requirements for this qualification.
 

COURSE DURATION:

Your enrolment is valid for a period of twelve months. With reference to “face –to- face” training; participants are guided through the learning material and the assessments are completed by the participant post class time. Hence overall course completion is controlled / directed by the participant.

Some Dealer groups will require you to complete the extra "advice in" modules, or may allow you to complete only the ones you wish to give advice in.
