AAMC Training's Diploma in Financial Planning and Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning provides students the best exposure to the Financial Planning industry. Better known as RG146 qualifications, there are many opportunities to study the relevant areas of advice to acquire either Tier 1 or Tier 2 status. The courses cover both the generic and specialist knowledge a number of advice areas such as; Life Insurance, Insurance Broking, Superannuation, Managed Investments, Securities and Derivatives, Margin Lending and Advice in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF). These qualifications are ASIC's, FPA, AFA recognised and also by ASQA the Australian Regulation Training Body however recent changes in industry with the introduction of FASEA, there is will be a requirements as of January 1st 2019 to hold a degree level qualification. Dealer Groups may differ with regard to their requirements for entry based on the type of advice and services being provided, so it is always best to check with them first before commencing any study. Many other Australian professionals being Accountants, Mortgage Brokers, Finance Brokers, Real Estate Agents, Real Estate Sales Representatives are now undertaking these courses to broaden their scope of knowledge and diversification of skills. AAMC Training offer a range of continued professional development courses (CPD/CPE) and a free Learning Management System (LMS) for clients to maintain control and records required under RG146 and RG206.
