FNS40815 Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking

This qualification is suitable for those seeking to work in or to support the Finance and Mortgage Broking industry. The roles of Finance/Mortgage Broker or Loan Support/Process Officer involve working with client’s to assist in acquiring suitable finance option/s.

Duties associated with these roles include, but are not limited to:

• adhering to legislative and code of practice obligations, relevant to the mortgage and/or finance broking industry 
• building relationships with referral partners, industry professionals and clients
• securing and supporting clients interested in mortgage or finance broking services
• presenting broking options to clients based on identified needs
• preparing and presenting loan applications to lenders
• monitoring the progress of the loan from submission to settlement, ensuring clients and related parties are updated
• providing after sales service and support to clients and referrers.

 

Please note that this FNS40815 Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking qualification has been superseded by the FNS40820 Certificate IV as endorsed by the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC).
 
Should you enrol in this qualification your course completion date will be 31st December 2021. If you do not anticipate being able to submit your assessments before this date, transition to the new course (when it becomes available) will be made at no further cost to you. However, this will involve additional study and assessments (due to some upgraded units not being equivalent).

Regardless of your preferred delivery choice, student support will always be available via email and telephone. If you have previously undertaken this course via face to face with AAMC Training and there are any areas you still do not understand, you are welcome to return for free to the next available class covering this module.

 

COURSE DURATION:

Your enrolment is valid for a period of twelve months. With reference to “face-to-face” training; participants are guided through the learning material and the assessments are completed by the participant post class time. Hence overall course completion is controlled / directed by the participant.
