How to write simple workplace documents?
Documents are a daily affair in a workplace whether to inform team members about a decision, to reply to a customer complaint, or to record decisions made at a meeting. The efforts put in writing a document would go futile if it is not well-planned and it would not convey the message that it should. Once the initial planning is done, it is easier to organise information in the document. Again, the language and expression of the document should be simple and must follow common rules of grammar and punctuation. Along with a number of issues related to writing that can turn offensive at times, this course covers:

• Application software available for administrative functions
• Occupational health and safety
• Opening and closing of application/file
• The typical workplace documents in use
• Planning and organising workplace documents
• Style, structure and language in a workplace document
• Proofreading and editing documents
