An Australian Apprenticeship is a great way for an employer to recruit and integrate a new employee into a business and professionally develop an existing employee, whilst providing nationally accredited training. It is a wonderful way for a new employee to learn your business. Apprenticeships include both traditional trade apprenticeships and non-traditional traineeships in approximately 500 industries. Australian Apprentices must be at least 15 years of age and may already hold a qualification. There is no maximum age. Training can be developed to suit the specific needs of your business. It may be totally on the job or a combination of on and off the job training.
Australian Apprentices can be employed on a full time or part time basis and must work a minimum of 15 / 21 hours per week.
