Australian Apprenticeship Program
If you're an employer of an eligible Australian apprentice this program can help you with a range of financial incentives, including:
- Commencement Incentives
- Completion Incentives
- The Rural and Regional Skills Shortage Incentive
- Declared Drought Area Incentives
- Mature Aged Workers Incentives
- Australian School-based Apprenticeship Incentive
- Assistance for Australian Apprentices with Disability
- Support for Adult Australian Apprentices
Restart Wage Subsidy
Restart offers support to employers who employ and retain eligible job seekers who are 50 years of age or older, and who have unemployed and on income support for six months or more. At present, an employers can receive up to $10,000 (GST inclusive) in assistance for a full-time employee over two years.
Supported Wage System
If you're employing a person with a disability whose disability hampers their workplace productivity, this program provides free access to an approved assessor.
The assessor will determine the productivity based wage to be paid to your employee. Additionally you may able to receive a one off payment to help offset the cost of employing that person.
The Small Business Jobs Bonus - TAS
If you're running a small bsuiness in Tasmania, this program can help by providing funding when you are employing people in newly created positions within your business. This bonus only applies to full or part-time jobs created in the 2014-15 financial year.
